Tamara Friebel Noel, age 51, resident of Shelby died Thursday, March 17, 2022, in her home.
She was born September 18, 1970, in Toledo, Ohio to her biological mother Jackie Mohr. Lovingly adopted by Glenn and Darlene (Dunmyer) Rickens, she had been a lifelong resident of Shelby. A 1988 Shelby High School graduate, Tamara had attended the North Central State College of Nursing where she graduated as valedictorian with her associate degree. She then worked as a home health nurse for numerous years.
An avid Steelers fan and true crime enthusiast, she also enjoyed watching Shelby High School Football, working on jigsaw puzzles, scrap booking and anything that sparkled and glittered. Tamara loved the flamingos, flip flops and laying by her pool dreaming of her toes in the sand at the beach. Above all else, she loved her children, and was very involved in their lives. Attending all sporting events, or making them ham dinners, they were her world, and she was their "Supa-Star".
She is survived by her two children, daughter Aarika Friebel of Cincinnati and Bryson Friebel of Shelby; grand-puppy Zayda; brother Tom Rickens of Shelby, biological mother Jackie Mohr; sister-in-law Michelle Rickens of Columbus, nephews Mason and Maddox Rickens; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Jeff Rickens.
