Wade Davis

Wade Davis, age 79, resident of Shelby died Tuesday November 13, 2018 at his home. Born August 19, 1939 in Willard to Willie and Tennie (Davis) Picklesimer he had been a Shelby resident the majority of his life. He was self employed in the construction business. 

Wade was an avid motorcycle rider and was a member of the Harley Rider's National Club.  He enjoyed traveling and site seeing and will be remembered by his nickname "Tumbleweed".  

Survivors include his wife Deborah Jean (Webb) Davis whom he married December 3, 2000; his children Timothy Wade Davis of Fostoria, Wadeana Porrett of Ft. Benning, GA., Henrietta O'Brien of Carnegie, PA., Melvadine Davis of Bethel Park, PA., Makayla Sheriff of Willard; step son Timothy Parrish of Shelby; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sister Melvadine Dykes of TN., Grover Picklesimer of Shelby, Bill Jean Traxler of Willard, MaryLou Smith of Willard, Brenda Feathering of Willard and Clayton Hicks of Willard. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son Nathan Sheriff, sisters Connie Shenburger, Bonnie Sikes, brothers Arbie Alsept, Corbet Alsept and Ollie Picklesimer. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association at National Headquarters 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601 and/or Hospice of North Central Ohio at 1050 Dauch Dr, Ashland, OH 44805.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
