To a wonderful man who brought smiles to so many faces. He inspired us all to enjoy the moment and be better human beings, including the four sons he and Kate raised to be incredible men just like him. Charlie will be so missed. Our love and support reach out to you all. Love and God bless you all.

Terry and Family,

Just wanted to send my sincere condolences for your loss. Charlie was a wonderful person. I remember many times out at your house and even a few trips over to the Mansfield Raceway with him. I'm sure you will maintain wonderful memories as you move forward. May God Bless you, Nancy and family.

Dear Grandma Hamman & the greater Hamman Family, it is with deep regret that we will not be able to make Grandpa's Calling Hours and Funeral. I am currently in the Pacific conducting training and cannot depart. Please let it be known, we have been thinking about Grandpa a lot and all the memories we shared on the open road traveling to the races years ago. Grandpa will be missed many and only he knows the true highway to heaven. All our love, Chris, Traci, Coltin & Nate.

Awe, Terry, I'm so sorry. What a wonderful life he had and you enjoyed him for so long!! Amen to that. The photo you shared of your mom holding his hand on FB was so touching. What a tribute to their love. And they sure turned out a wonderful son in you. Sending my sincere sympathy on your loss, and thinking of you. - Nancy

To all the Hammans~
Sending heartfelt sympathy. Charlie didn't know a stranger, young or old. I've heard many stories of all the women he drove to out of town sporting events. (My Mom was one who looked so forward to these trips.) Such a sweet and caring man. May you all find peace in the memories you hold in your heart. Hugs to all.

My Deepest Sympathies to all the families. Charlie was such a hoot. Always had some sort of wisdom to give, or just plain ol' bologna most of the time. You always knew how he felt about things because he didn't mince words.
May God be with you in your time of grieving and sooth your hearts.

Terry and Nancy, It's been a long time since we've been in touch, but just wanted both of you to know all of you are in our thoughts and prayers as you try to work your way through this trying time. Charlie was a special person and touched many lives and always seemed to take a minute or two to "chat" with me every time our paths crossed. He will be greatly missed by many in the community. We will be thinking of you over the coming days and hope you find some comfort in holding on to all the wonderful memories you will have of him which will last a life time for you.

We have enjoyed countless family gatherings and were blessed with Charlie's bright smile. He always had a joke to tell and put a smile on your face. It meant so much to me, my husband and children to spend countless holidays with my sister Nancy and her husband Terry. We had lost both sets of our parents so it was always a joy to be around Charlie and Kate. He will be missed more than words can say. Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. I know there will be a big hole in all of their hearts. They have so many wonderful memories to hold onto to bring a sweet smile back to all of their faces.
