John M. Hammond

John M. Hammond age 55, died Thursday November 17, 2016 at Ohio Health Mansfield.

Born May 30, 1961 in Louisa, Kentucky to George and Anna (Fields) Hammond he had been a Shelby resident since 2010.

John was a 1979 graduate of Plymouth High School. He enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, walking his dog and spending time with his family. 

He is survived by his two sons Joseph Hammond and Danny Ray (Tiara) (Hammond) Livingston both of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Dominique Alexander Livingston and Grayson Paul Livingston; six siblings Mary Berry of Mansfield, Kevin Hammond of Mansfield, Guy Hammond of Mansfield, Rick Hammond of Bellville, Judy Jones of Bellville, and Kenny Hammond of Georgia, numerous nieces nephews and other relatives.

In addition to his Parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Bobby Joe Hammond, Glen Calvin Hammond, George Hammond and Henry Hammond

Funeral services will be held at Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 12 PM. Pastor Bruce Copley will officiate with interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 10-12.
