Joyce Elaine Morse

Joyce Elaine Morse, age 89, of Shelby died Friday August 21, 2015, at her daughter's home in Delray Beach, Florida. 
Born March 6, 1926, in Willard, Ohio to Searl & Lena (Nordyke) White, she had been a Shelby area resident the majority of her life.

Joyce was a graduate of Shelby High School and was a homemaker and had worked as an underwriter for the Shelby Mutual Insurance Company.
Joyce was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Ohio Art & Crafts Guild.

She enjoyed gardening, quilting, participating in statewide Art & Craft Festivals with her husband and playing the organ.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Arthur) Malernee of Delray Beach, Fl; grandchildren, Jamie (Peter) Boyd, Carrie (Shane) Callender; the lights of her life, her great grandchildren, Reese, Brie, Jack and Ivy; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Karen White; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws; Brent Fox, her second cousin and like a son to her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James A. Morse also from Shelby and who she was married to for 49 years; her parents and one sister, Delores Johnston.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday August 29, 2015 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth. Brent Fox will conduct services.
