Sandra L. Crosby

Sandra L. Crosby, age 76, of Shelby died Saturday, June 11, 2016 at her home.

Born October 13, 1939 in Willard to Woodrow Shaffer and Norma Lucille (Ryman) Shaffer Evans, Sandra was a long time resident of Shelby. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Shiloh. Sandra enjoyed many crafts including crocheting and quilting and was a very talented seamstress. She loved her garden and camping.

She is survived by two children, son Joseph Crosby of Shelby and daughter Connie Weir of Willard; six grandchildren, Krista (Bryan) Thompson, Joseph Crosby II, Kenneth Weir, Russel Crosby, Joshua Crosby, and Logan Meyer; five great grandchildren and one brother Terry Evans of Shelby and other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents Joseph and Lizzy Ryman.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday, June 17, 2016 at the Barkdull Funeral Home and Crematory in Shelby with Pastor Chris Spencer of the Grace Baptist Church in Crestline officiating . Interment will be held in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.  Memorial expressions may be made to Multiple Melanoma Research and/or the Columbus James Cancer Society.
