Teresa E. Mink

Teresa E. Mink, age 53, resident of Mansfield died Monday April 25, 2016 at her home.

Born February 5, 1963 in Mansfield, Ohio to James and Mary (Gilliam) Knipp, she had been a Mansfield resident  the majority of her life. A 1980 Shelby High School graduate, she had been a homemaker. 

Teresa enjoyed writing poems, shopping, gardening, and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her one son, Michael Mink; two daughters Jennifer Mink and Rachael Mink all of Mansfield; four grandchildren, John, Jayonna and James Stokes, and Ra'Janae Johnson; one brother David (Emily) Knipp of Lucas; four sisters, Fran (Clay) Thomas of Sedona, AZ, Cathy Knipp, Nora Knipp and Mary Knipp all of Mansfield, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Barry and James Knipp.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Monday May 2, 2016 at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby. Pastor Troy Wooten of the Christian Life Church will officiate with interment in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory to help defray funeral expenses.
