Janice F Aumend

Janice F. Aumend, age 87, died Monday February 1, 2016 at Ohio Health in Shelby. 

Born October 20, 1928 in New Washington, to Philip J. and Edna M. (Stutzman) Maul, she was a graduate of New Washington High School. Janice enjoyed reading, watching the Cleveland Indians, and especially loved the time she spent with her granddaughter, Devin.

She is survived by her son Dana Aumend of Marengo, OH; granddaughter Devin Aumend of Columbus, OH and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Ellsworth, Gerald, Wayne, Halden and Karl Maul and five sisters; Mildred Caldwell, Neva Shealy, Phyllis Maul, Jean Till, Esther Hamman

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, February 4, 2016 at St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery in New Washington. Pastor Russel Yoak will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association at PO Box 15120, Chicago, IL 60693; or the American Cancer Society at ACS CAN, P.O.
