My sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. Find strength and comfort from God. At 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 it describes God as "the God of all comfort who comfort us in all our trials". This promise assures the family that by turning to God you can receive help during this difficult time.

Our families thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time of sorrow. I'm sure the cards are flying some ice cream is being eaten, table pounding is going on up in heaven now between our parents.

So true. I mentioned to several at the burial that some of mom & dad's best friends were right beside them. I had the same thoughts about the ice cream & cards
