My sympathy to Martha's family. I always loved Martha's wonderful spirit and a teasing smile. She had a spunk and spark about her that I always appreciated during my ministry at Trinity United Methodist Church.

Nancy, Bonnie & Byron: Your mom and dad both were so nice to me when I was younger. Your father and I enjoyed talking when we both worked at Quanex (Standard Tube) together and I'm so glad I was able to spend a little time with your mother while I was visiting my daughter in Shelby not long ago. My thoughts are with you all during your time of loss. I know they are together again and walking with Christ.

Sending our condolences and prayers to the children of Martha Akers. We pray that God puts his arms around you and comforts you through this difficult time. Martha was a wonderful, beautiful lady, and we used to visit she and your dad years ago, but had lost track of where she was. She loved her family dearly. God Bless each of you.
