Many years ago I was manager of the FOE 763 Little League baseball team in Shelby. We were fortunate to have Matt on our team. He was a terrific pitcher, but he was an even better young man.
Our family always enjoyed having him in our home.

Growing up with you in my life was truly a blessing. We Had many memorable moments from the black eye I received playing baseball in the front yard to swimming over in the pond. Matt will be missed and my condolences . Your families will be in my prayers.

Deeply saddened to hear of Matt's passing. As a classmate of his, I hadn't communicated with Matt in a very long time, probably since High School, but always enjoyed being around him. Playing baseball together as kids, Matt was a fun loving guy who made everyone around him smile. Matt was a very athletic kid growing up! Thoughts and condolences to the family.

My thoughts are with your family in this difficult time...I have many great memories of Matt starting way back in Little League at McBride field and on up through jr and sr high...Canoing at Mohican...I cant think about him without a smile coming to my face...he will be greatly missed.
