Just read your loving mother's obit. My sincerest condolences. Brought back memories of fun times we had growing up as neighbors. Your mom was always so kind and thoughtful in all things she did in life. Her smile will live on in your fond memories of her.

To the Schumacher and Kerley families-
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I grew up on Smiley Road across from John Scherer. Norma was such a wonderful neighbor. I remember buying eggs and she would always take time to talk with me even as a child. As an adult when I'd return to Shelby for a visit and happen to see her, she was always interested in where I was and what I was doing. She was a great lady and will be missed by so many. May God's love give you peace.

Sweet Norma, It was wonderful learning how to do bunka with her, she was so sweet and had a way to show people how to do it. But she was a nice friend when ever you met up with her. Her picture is just the way I will always remember her.
