Marcia M. (LaRue) Waggoner

Marcia M. Waggoner, age 78, a resident of  Shelby died Sunday November 6, 2015 in Willows of Willard. 

Born September 3, 1937 in Jackson, Michigan to Harold F. and Amelia Bernice (Cooper) LaRue, she had been a Shelby resident since 1968.  She was a 1956 graduate of Brooklyn High School in Michigan.  Marcia was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving as a W.A.F. and was formerly employed at Ballanoff Industries.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 326 and V.F.W. Post 291 Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include one son, Tom J. Waggoner of Shelby; three daughters and sons-in-law, Marie and Michael Herwy of Bowling Brook, Illinois, Marcy and B.J. Wright of New Albany, Indiana and Billie Jo and Dennis Klein of Conklin, Michigan; three grandchildren, Sarah Wilkins, Laura Puff and Brad Herwy; one great granddaughter Avery Puff; one step son Paul Waggoner of Shelby and other relatives.  

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Waggoner and one brother, Harold F. LaRue, Jr.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday November 12, 2015 from the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby. Reverend James McDonald will officiate interment in Oakland Cemetery.  Friends may call at Barkdull Funeral Home on Thursday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
